finally got a ram in a trade.....will look forward to comparing it to the mudd.....hopefully i'll like it as much as the mudd and i can carry the ram instead.....it'll make me move alot faster without all that weight:D.....will keep u tuned and give a report when it shows up.....ryan
 
You won't be disappointed ryan.
G-10 is nice and grippy(waiting on wood from Phillip). The Hawks have a very good design in the R.A.M.
It is the fastest opening knife I own too.
I've been trying different opening techniques and find that if I bind the
side lock button just a little when trying to open it, it opens even faster. :D

mike...does it open the same as the mudd.....the mudd opens like a lightning bolt if u ask me....i was surprised by it.....well i guess it's a little different sincethe mudd oesn't have a flipper but it still has the lock button thingy.....ryan
 
thanks....i have wanted one since it came out.....i don't know if it's a newer one with the new steel but i hope it is....ryan
