my son is a week old today so i went ahead and ordered a izula. cant wait to get it. and being a dad is great. hehe.

hey congrats on the Izula!! oh., and on the kid too!! :D

shoulda ordered 2 though.., would've made a great 1 week b-day present for Bige610 Jr., lol!!!! :p

Congrats on the new addition to the family with the baby and welcome to the RAT Family :D:D

Yup, a whole week old, he's ready for his own Izula! Just don't let him use it before you teach him the basic safety rules. Like, it's not food, don't put it in your mouth. No throwing! in the house, anyway. Do you have a dog? Lots of special rules there, too.

Ahh ... whittle him his first "knife" and let him learn on that. :D

Congrats on becomming a parent! And on making the smart move of ordering a Izula!

Welcome aboard!

The more I look around........the more I am starting to want a RC-3. It just looks sooooooo great! Looks like a real everyday workhorse.

Same here. I got the RC-4 as a camp knife, but now I really want an RC-3 to replace my BM 210 'work knife'. Still, rent needs to be paid, cars need to be fixed and computers need replacing, so it might take awhile before I get my hands on one (and then, the cheaper Izula may 'have to do'). I just hope things don't get so bad that I have to sell my RC-4

Tough times :(

I have very few things that I really value. I have a bunch of stuff, but it could all go except my best shotgun, my Glock, my go bag and all it's contents, My Spyderco Manix and my RATs.

They fall into the prized posession catagory, not to mention, regardless of how bad things get, I'll always need decent knives and survival gear.

I don't own much of value; the RAT is one of the most valuable 'luxury' things I have (the car isn't mine, I just own a 'share' of it... and its bills, and my Nintendo DS & iPod are already on their way out). If push came to shove, it would be one of the first things to go. I'd just have to make do with a Mora until things pick up :)

I think the only things I'd never get rid of are my camera, computer, a much loved set of speakers (and my CD collection), my Merrell shoes, a couple pairs of Mountainlife trousers and my Victorinox SwissTool.

Anyway, this is far too off-topic. Sorry to bring down the tone of what should be a thread filled with celebration :)

Congratulations.
