I had my hand on them, picked up one Delica 2 for a user. Nice and lightweight handle (no liners and all pinned) VG10 and a nice point. Great lockup!

Now, I'm just saying I did not get a deal on mine at all... But they are kind of rare so I didn't mind. (local army surplus)

PM me and maybe I can pick you up one, I make NO money! Just looking out for my fellow knife bros

Hope this is not seen as spam or deal spotting :o (I think there are 2 more delicas and 2 more enduras)

Just FYI, the Delica II and Endura II are the AUS-6 blade/stainless handle models. I figure you are talking about the D3/E3 FRN models with steel clips held on by barrel bolts. ;)

:o

Your right! Barrel bolts hold the clip, VG-10 maybe they are not all that rare? I will post a PIC a little later. I think I paid $55 or so?

Cool! PM sent. I'm very interested. It sounds like they're gen 3 models, but I don't care. Some of those still had the old-school pivots where you could easily inertia-open them. I just picked up a Ladybug that had one of those pivots, and it made me remember how much I missed my older Enduras and Delicas. I used to be "quick draw McGraw" back in the early 90's with my Endura.

I'd really like to get my hands on some more of the real older Enduras- with the FRN clips. I used to have a couple of those, and they were fantastic knives.

These are FRN with no liners:

My plastic clip version is actually AUS-8, but it was a replacement from the factory for a very early model that developed a slipjoint. The metal clip version is ATS-55.

A VG-10 version sounds cool. Does it have the pointy tip ?

Ok, found an old picture of what you're talking about.

Says: C10PBK Endura Lightweight on the box label.

It's got FRN, single bolt metal clip, safety dent in the lock release, pointy tip, and VG-10 steel. Nice combo.
