This is one of those things that make you wonder.... Yesterday I received my first custom folder, a beautiful blade from Striper28 (Charles Gedraitis). The knife had been up for sale for quite some time and I had always kept my eye one it. Well I finally decided to pull the trigger and it just so happened that Chuck was going out of town for a show and didn't receive my payment before he left. Ugh, more waiting.... Well he shipped it quick when he got back on Monday and I received it on 9/11. I thought that was pretty neat in itself, I'll never forget the day I got it. Now for the really wierd part, I send Chuck an email today telling him I got it, that I'm VERY happy with it and how it was cool that I got it on 9/11. He replied back making the point that the knife is red, white and blue! Ivory scales, blue anodized titanium bolsters and red liners.
Makes me go hmmmmm....
By the way, if you haven't checked out Mr. Gedraitis' knives you need to. The young man is an artist and a craftsman. I felt lucky to get one of his first folders, his latest ones are WAY out of my price range
