Got a Strider SNG coming...

I want to see what all the fuss is about. I have high expectations for a $400 production knife.

I almost bought a MercWorx Lachesis but I have yet to read anything too positive about them.

I got my SnG last Christmas ( stonewashed / black G10). Even my wife commented that it was a very nice knife, she likes the heat colored titanium.

The only underwhelming part of the experience was the packing it came in, it was wrapped in a plastic bag inside a small white box.

I think a small padded knife case would have been more appropriate, but that's just me.

It doesn't change the quality of the knife itself, but it would have added to the overall presentation and protected the knife while being shipped.

its a very nice knife, it gets more pocket time with me than pretty much anything else.

Im sure I will carry it a lot. I got the black G-10 model...the only one they had I would have loved the Ranger Green but oh well....I guess I will have to get another. It would seem they are not very easy to find in stock for a decent price.

I've had a black G10 stone washed SNG for a couple of months and I like it. It is very stout, locks up nicely, no blade wobble, etc. It's 3.5" blade allows me to carry it legally and it's 4.5 oz weight is not too heavy for most clothes except maybe nylon running shorts. I've also have a RCC satin wedge folder with liner lock. Maybe it's the recurve blade but I don't carry it as much, although it's a nice knife as well.
