Thanks Amy-0. I wasn't worried that they weren't coming; I just included that information on the off chance that someone with War Boars coming (and wondering when they should be arriving) might have been paying attention to my previous posts.

i got the battery to work (sort of), but the flash wouldn't. And I used to be such a big Canon fan. Anyway, here's a picture of my October 2006 acquisitions, to date:

The picture sucks, but it does fairly accurately represent he color of the Ram's Horn GWs Mine weren't nearly as uniformly white as those in the extravaganza picture. There's a lot more red and brown in them. More like the Giraffe Bone GWs in the more recent 'ganza. They're very bonish and not really pearley or ivory at all. NTTAWWT The other GW are balck micarta and a SMOG Warden.

Although it doesn't show, the serrated top edge on the SJTAC variant is pretty darned cool.

Note to Amy-0: Two of those Stag horn GWs are for my brothers for Christmas. I really really need that buffalo GW from the latest 'ganza for my dad. Just keep that in mind when you're sorting through all those e-mails. Don't let me (or my dad) down.

John - Have you looked for blood lines yet? I checked my GW-RH and didn't find any.

At the Chicago Custom Show in '05 Jerry was talking about them so I grabbed my ARC flashlight to look for them. Jerry's hands were full - JWB and a good cigar, of course - so I had to get up and show him. In the end, Jerry had sold another LrMS.
