I got an Arkansas Traveler from a well known close out website of clothing and outdoor gear. It appeared from the comments on the site that the walnut was discontinued because of problems with QC on the walnut handles. Some loved their knife but some were very upset at the defects in the wood scales. My understanding is that the new ones (olive wood) do not have this issue. But mine came in looking good Yay! No defects in the walnut scales. I am also very pleased with its usefulness as an EDC knife after using it for a week at work. I carry it on my belt as I am a horseshoer in maine and can get away with open carry of fixed blades but this little knife looks like it would fit in any pocket sheath that would hold a pocket sized bark river for you city dwellers who might be considering getting one. This is my first boker. And I am very pleased.
