When you buy yourself knives all the time to call one a Christmas gift is a bit of a stretch, but I think this one qualifies.

They've got a case knife display where I work ( it's pretty much picked clean now ) and in that display was a smoothe Chestnut bone SS mini Coperlock that I've been eying.
They wanted way too much for it so I just put it on the list and figured I'd eventually order one.
Well yesterday they gave us our annual Christmas gift cards ( billion dollar company and all we get is a $25 gift card for their store ) and was able to score the very last one for $10 less than it would have costed me to order it and I didn't have to wait :)

I got another winner from case with no real flaws that I could find.

Overall I love the knife, that mirror polish I didn't like but it was easy enough to turn into more of a brushed finish with some mother's mag polish.

Nice deal. :)

Do you think they'll sell you the display case for what they paid for it or less after you buy the last knife out of it?.
(the dealers didn't pay for them display cases, by the way)
You're going to need a means of storing/displaying the ones not in your pockets ...

It's a cheap plexiglass type, but after they're done with it I do have dibs before it goes into the compactor.

There's a black jigged delrin trapper a yellow trapper and two black jigged delrin stockman left up top ( which I do not personally want ) but there's still a bunch of the cheapo Tech X and Harley Davidson branded knives that case imports down on the bottom which have to sell first.

It's funny how in my rural farm county the truckers and farmers bought up all of the good quality traditional Case knives in short order while the cheap junk is still there.

I sometimes get " it's the thought that counts " kind of knives, but the only time I get a knife I'd actually carry and use is if I buy or pick them out myself.

Very nice knives! I bought one a month or so ago, great "gentleman's" knife with a full size blade. OH
