Telling me he's posting 70 new knives on his site! Well, I think I was fifth to respond to it and this is what I wound up with. Alittle overboard. You think:D

I probably should have been born nocturnal. I am always awake. Its 3:50 and and I have work at noon. I'm used to this though and really aught start getting to bed now.

Davd I like your dellana. Ive always had a think for her tight ladder patterns and mosaics.

As you know, Jon, Dellana and Van Barnett are among the few
custom makers I really admire. My next book in the series on
"Custom Knifemakers of the World" will be about these two
great knife artists who do only full authorship pieces.

Don does have some terrific pieces for sale. I think you both made outstanding choices, really would be hard to choose from what is offered.

I'm a big fan of Jody Muller and those show just how talented he is!

I was quite surprised when the email mentioned 70 new knives, so went straight to the site. He really did one heck of a good job on pricing.
 
WOW...great score. I thought the prices were very realistic also.

I can only IMAGINE the knives that remain in Don Guilds collection!

There are definitely some really nice knives listed in the Guild sale. I thought it was funny that in his description of the Bailey Bradshaw knife, he described Bailey as an ABS Journeyman.

The Warenski bowie and the Steigerwalt auto with mammoth ivory handle are my favorites.
