My flying mojo is going to be delivered tomorrow! It took a little extra time because of some incompetence at my bank. I had asked busse to email me before charging my card so I could make a transfer. They did, and I contacted my bank for the transfer to my regular account from my savings/stock account. Something thay should take 3 days. It ended up taking almost 2 weeks due to general incompetance. I wanted to post this here because I was happy with busse's patience and grace when I was dealing with this nonsense. Anyway now it's all over with and as I post this that beautiful knife is on its way! I can't wait. I'll post some pics when it gets here!

Ooh! There aren't near enough pix of these beauties yet! Yes by all means please post some! :)

Congratulations!!!!!

She's here and she is so much nicer then I expected. this is my first busse custom shop order so I didn't realize the level of fit and finish to expect. This knife is stunning! The finger grooves fit my hand like a glove in both forward and reverse grip. There is also enough room to use the blade catcher as a thumb ramp for a sabre grip. The grind is so much more beautiful then it appears in pictures. It's edge apears to be convex and is razor sharp! The black and red g10 is subtle and perfect for this aggressive knife. Its finished fairly smoothly but the grip is plenty secure. The skull crusher is the most aggressive I've ever seen. This is just a vicious fighter. The balence point is right infront of the scales. Making it lively in the hand but it is a thick blade with some power to be had on a chop or punch cut. I love it!

Sorry that the pic quality isn't top notch. Doing the best I can with the camera on my phone. I'll see if I can get a few better ones later on. I will probably also try and get a youtube vid up since there are none.

Thanks! It truly is a beautiful and unique knife. I've been collecting knives for about 25 years and at this point it's hard to find something unique. But those front serrations really make this knife stand out in the pack. And the way they're designed they are angled forward. So in a slashing type cut they don't bind. I'm curious to see how they affect a thrust cut. I may have to do a meat test just to satisfy curiosity. Each serration is super sharp like a Web cutter. Or belly zipper on a skinner. So I think it should thrust just fine.

Oh and anyone who's curious the top edge is more of a swedge then a fully sharpened edge. I do think it would cut under a lot of force but you can run a finger over it with significant pressure without being cut. It's also a pretty heavy blade but as I said earlier very well balanced. It weighs 19.97 ounces. While my TGLB weighs in at 15.64 ounces.

Stop posting photos of these - it makes me want to order one! ;):D
Congrats on a very cool knife; I really like the finger grooves!
