haha bet you thought i was gonna say something really really rare or out of this world, but no i bought about the most basic of K/O's designs. The needs work. I have to say aside from a minorly annoying clicking in the handle scale when closing the blade i couldnt ask for a better knife. I open ALOT of boxes at work and that thing just kills em all. Ive never in my life bought a knife, felt the edge and said "damn, thats scary sharp i dont know if trust myself" but with that one i did. now i think i have 6-7 kershaws and a year ago i had none. thanks for making knives that seem to be almost made for me.

I picked one up for my girlfriend (to distract her from the Damascus Leek I got for myself), and I have to say that it is a lot of knife for a bargain price. It's a great blade shape and a very comfortable handle. She already has a Scallion and a Mini Mojo, so she's used to SpeedSafe, but the way the Needs Work opens really startled her. Hers seems amazingly fast, and the sound it makes is impressive.

I'd definitely love to see a higher end version with at least upgraded handles.
Trying to resist the urge to get one for myself though.

A needs work with grippy G-10 handles would really help compensate for the somewhat smaller handle. Grey G-10 like the JYD2!
