All right. I'll try this again.
I recently got an apple iphone 3GS, free. I've been checking out some of the different apps that are available. Got a few that I thought are pretty cool. I figured I'd list some of them. Do you have any good ones? Can you suggest some?

Games:
Angry birds
stupid zombies
(shooting zombies)
Marble blast (rolling marbles around, better than it sounds)
Cat Physics
Contract Killer
(hit man, sniper game)
wordfeud (scrabble between two people using two different phones)
sudoku
majhjong
tetris

Utilities (?)
Kindle
calculator
comas
find iphone
bump

In my original post, someone suggested Tapatalk for use with forums.
sound hound (activate it and hold it up near a speaker while a song is playing and it will look it up and let you know what it is. I tried it on Tool, Van Halen, Motley Crue and Pink Floyd. It named the song and artist correctly. Didn't work on a karaoke version of a Nickelback song.)

There is one that I think is a got to have app if you do any traveling. gasbuddy. If you don't know what it is, it keeps track of gas prices. They will show up in a list or on a map. Just type in the zip code or name of the town where you are in or will be going and it will bring up the prices in that town. If you don't have a smart phone, they have the same thing on the website,www.gasbuddy.com

A website that is cool for making ring tones is http://audiko.net/ Just find the song or sound you want as a ring tone. Drop the URL into a box at audiko.net and it will bring it up. Move a selector to the section you want and then download it.

One I have seen for an iPad is sketchbook express. It is a drawing program that will draw straight lines, circles, squares, text and draws in different colors too.

Anyone have any apps that you think are cool or would suggest?

I'm looking for a backgammon and othello (or reversie) that can be played between two different phones.

Know of any other good, cool or useful apps for smart phones or other mobile devices?

On my iPod at present, I have two book readers; iBook and Stanza (they handle different formats). I have the handy "flashlight" ap for emergencies, Wikipedia, IMDB, Netflix, Amazon, Live365 radio, Pandora radio, and the NPR news ap.
Live365 is pretty cool... Unlike Pandora which uses software to find "music you like", this one has literally thousands of individual self-programmed "stations" carrying nearly any type of music you want. The free version has occasional commercials.
I have not found any games for this device I like. I tried a GT racing game that was so unlike actually driving a car I promptly deleted it.
Oh, I have a "steel guitar" ap as well, pretty cool. Hot slide licks.
