Got around to hanging my Forester and got my best fit so far

Was lucky enough to pick up a Spotted Gum handle early today and get it hung. 4th axe I have done so still learning but managed to get personally the tightest fit I have done so far. Cant wait to get away and try it out.

Yeah it is fairly small, I weighed it today and it's 3 pounds so pretty light for a tassie. Put her on a 32 inch handle and it seems to be an alright length can't wait till I can test it more. Will try and get away to the country soon and put her to proper use.
 
I'll have to wait to finish mine. Work has been busy all month and I haven't had time to get it finished up. The eye at the lower end is quite a bit smaller than the top, so going slow to get it right. Hopefully this weekend. I got some hickory and maple I gotta get through and this would really help (or at least make it more fun).

Yeah definitely worth the time of doing it right, and sounds good I'm looking forward to seeing it
