Got be new BM43 and its awesome!!! **READ**

Well, everyone, I know that the last thing that needs to be posted is another "I got one" story, but I did, and you better all reply this time (no one ever replied to my post over a year ago about getting my BM42 [at RMKS] and I am still upset!) :) Just kidding, but I thought I would stick with tradition and post about it. This is awesome, I love the look and feel of this thing flipping, It has brought be back from the world of customs back to balisongs, thanks Mike for getting me hooked again! But I also think that this will be the closest thing to a custom Scimitar that I will get for a while, this thing is just awesome! Its a great change from a weehawk (again I love the blade style), and after a good dose of MILITEC-1, it flips beautifully. Oh I also got another kydex rig (a shoulder harness) from Clay, this thing kicks ass, and Clay is a super guy to do business with!!!

I just got back from a show ... and well I am really beat, and I can't hear anything right now, but I will get some pictures up of it and maybe the sheath ... that is if you guys would like to see it?

Also CAMERON, give me a call and get your ass up here, I have a few new things, including the 43, a new RALPH and a new Crawford and you need to see them!!!

Email me with the days that you are off. I now work Mon-Fri (afternoons though 4-9 or 4-10) so the days that I can pop up there are either Sat or Sun. I got some sweet ass stuff and have some more coming, this is getting very tricky (I'll tell you what I mean ;)) and a bit dangerous. Can't wait to hear from ya. :D
 
Cant beleive it Malcom, I ordered mine wednsday and I'm still waiting it is expected to be here on thursday.:(
 
Congratulations. It makes you feel kind of special knowing that your one of the first people to get these new knives from Benchmade doesn't it.;)
 
This is just like last year when everybody had threads about getting their new 42. I have to put the 43 or 47 on hold 'til after I buy a DVD player, but I almost have enough money for it so I'll probably get one in a month or so.
 
Congratulations!!! I hope to have one of those bad boys in my hot little hands tomorrow by this time........... It'll probably be a long, restless night.:(

No shit toothed, If I were Dawkind I'd say "Well, I already have a custom one of those so I think I'll buy my friend BalisongMan a BM 43, he doesn't care if it is used or new, hell, he doesn't care if it comes in peices!!!"
I know that's exactly what Dawkind is saying right now!!!:D:D
 
I JUST GOT MY VERY FIRST REAL BALI TODAY AND ITS A GREAT BM42A!!!!! I know that I am late to hop on the bm42 train but better late then never right ?? I do have one question though. Does the tang pin have to be smashed after a while when your tang pin goes into your handles ??Thz again.

Brian-ps its a purple/pinkish color :rolleyes: in the light.Its pretty cool :cool:

Got any specs on how much that sheath costs? Oh, and you think you could put up more pics of it...heheh, with the bali OF COURSE. ;)
 
Well, Clay's inverted V sheath is $35, horizontal belt is $25, and neck sheath is $15, so I'm guessing the shoulder harness is around $25.
 
At first glance I thought the 43 was ground a LOT higher up than the 42 but looking at your photos they seem to be ground only a little more than the 42, do you have a 42 to put side by side and compare the blade grinds? As I'm interested in on that slices better than the 42....
