Got bored again today, and decided to snap some pics of my Berettas. My old 92F that I purchsed back in 1988 (while in the Army), and my .32 ACP Tomcat, and .25 ACP Jetfire.

Jetfire is a neat little gun.

Those who deride the .25 ACP should remember the deterrent value of any gun. Something is always better than nothing.

Also, they're really loud- you could always stick it in the assailant's ear.

And remember, it was the choice of the second New York city subway shooter.

A couple years after the authorities got done raking Bernard Gotz over the coals, there was a second subway shooting very similar, if you all recall. Several punks yanked and older man out of his seat and threw him down on the floor and started to beat and rob him. One punk was on top of him when a single shot rang out. The punk on top keels over dead with a bullet right htrough his heart, and the rest run out of the car at both ends. The older man gets up and goes and stands by the door with his coat collar pulled up and his back to everyone else. when they stop at the next station he gets off and looses himself in the crowd.

A single fired .25acp shell is recoved at the scene, and the police do the standard " we have some very good leads and we expect an arrest soon." It never happened. Unlike Gotz, the man never came forward, and the New York police still to this day have no idea who the older man was.

Of course some will say a .25acp will only make the assailant mad.
