Maybe just idle dreaming, but what about Camillus bringing out a line of good quality production bowies perhaps in coorperation with some custom makers? Give Ontario some competition and give us customers great knives at affordable (say sub $250) prices. Maybe different styles or perhaps a series?

Loki,
You have a really great idea! I do love Bowies! The closest I have from Camillus is the Fisk designed Becker Magnum Camp.I would like to see Mr.Fisk do another design for Camillus.

MDP,
Easy there stallion, remember what Ethan said, it could be 12-18 months before we even start, if we start, on another BK&T project. We don't even know then if will be a small utility knife. Then after you start, sometimes it takes a year to get a new knife to market, of course sometime we can do it much faster. Depends on the tooling.

Thanks again for the interest.

Will,

I just want to get some thoughts in for consideration.

In terms of a Bowie, I think a big, wide guy with a short, flat clip, choil and Becker handle at a cant about half/two thirds of the Machax cant, would knock some socks off. Let me know, and I will draw it up.

And it would be a great brother to the Magnum.

And the more I think about the Daily.... I think that maybe it would best executed as a skeleton knife. That way it could be cord wrapped, which would create a very secure grip. Will, send me your address and I will send you a design I am working on. I think you will like it, classic and useful.
