Hey all, not a new type of creation for me, but I just got this one back from Pen World International Magazine. They did some photo work on it and hopefully it will be included in their article on the Pen Maker's Guild. It would be kind of neat to see my work in print. Keep your fingers crossed for me. The article is supposed to come out early next year.

Oh yeah, twisted copper and nickel silver mokume Jr. Gent's fountain tip pen.

 Wow... that's one helluva pen! How did you forge such a tiny little thing like that? It's beautiful. Uuuuuuuh......

That is awesome
Those pen makers ought to be blown away when they get the full story behind it. Its one thing to buy the madrels and kits and knock pens out on a wood lathe. Its an entirely different class to be forging your own mokume and machining it into works like THAT :D

I think they should publish that one.

Oh Yeah...That will make ink for sure ;) Wheres mine? Oh nevermind...I cant keep up with a free pen much less a damn fine pen :D

Good luck Sean! I don't see how that wouldn't make it into the article. It's absolutely stunning. Matt's right that this is a whole other ball game from what other pen makers do; you'll probably get so many orders you won't have time for knives for a while! I hope they include some info about your knife work too. Way to go!

Very nice work! Good luck.

Thanks guys, I appreciate it. They are supposed to do phone interviews after the first of the year, so hopefully I can drop my website and get that in print also. I could handle selling 100+ of these guys to make some income and buy a metal lathe. :D

These are bigger in person than they look. Sean's pens (ha ha) are great. He's working on all sorts of crazy secret methods to blow the pen world out of the way. Hopefully he can implement some of the ideas when his hydraulic press gets built! Way to go!
