got in a debate, need help

I've always been told that in Florida it's pretty easy to get away with carrying any reasonably sized knife. I've never worried about folders cliped to the inside of my pocket. But some guy was giving me a lot of crap about a 4" fixed blade on my belt. He said you must have a concealed weapons permit to carry any size knife in any manner. I know this is incorrect, but he wouldn't budge. Does anyone have a link to prove me right?

Oh yeah and then he "accidentally" dropped it and broke the tip. I should not have let him touch it after all that. My fault I guess... :thumbdn: :thumbdn: :thumbdn: :thumbdn:
