Since another FBF is upon us lets go over our lists. Here's my (sorry no picks) small, but distinguished list;

Hunter - got it
Recluse - got it
Terrasaur - got it
Bushfinger - got it
EDC - workin on it ;)
Hiking buddy - workin on it (BIG, BIG thanks here!)
Runt - need it
12 inch Machete' - got it x's 2
Dream 2nd Terrasaur - need it
Camp Knife - OMFreakinG, there's camp knives - sooooo need it! :D
KPH - need it
Snubnose - need it

Craig - i have been wanting a snubnose since I first saw one pictured on Andy's web-site and got lucky 2 week's ago when he posted one for sale. I'll tell you this - it has seen frequent use since it arrived here in MD -- I just hope Rick Lowe has a pattern for it as sending this away for a set of pants would be 'painful'. I know Rick has fast turn around, but still, i don't want it to be away from home.

I've added quite a few FF knives lately and the snubnose and EDC are seeing the lion share of duty at the moment. HB is running a close second - unless of course I'm working at my knot tying table and then the 3FingerJoes rule

Good luck on your quest!

Bushcrafter - got it
Ladyfinger - got it (x2)
Carver - got it
Every single other model - need them all

I hear you Craig. I was moments too late on that Bocote KPH on the 1/18 sale. Kicked myself. Doh!

Oh Snap! had to step out for a minute and left the screen up. Wife saw the list and said " Keep needing babe, and dream on." Son of a ....... Gotta be more careful!

That HB is ready to go too. One less.

Recluse - need it...sort of have special plans for one of these in the future
Terrasaur – want it...working on a trade with a friend for an older one with a scandi grind

Arete – need it, fell in love with the one from this weeks batch
Comp Cutter - need it, it's an elusive dream and a grail!

There are more wants...but this is enough to hold me a while ;)

That's......that's.......that's like taking the paint off the canvas of the Mona Lisa and repainting it!!!

Just kidding. I completely understand. I sent in my hunter when it needed it and it came out better that what I started with.

I can't wait for these before and after pics.

Jimmy was doing some research with the wildlife dept. one day and was occupied and sheathed the knife with just a little bit of deer blood still on it. It made an odd line that looks like a crack in the steel around the plunge line on one side and it bugs the crap out of me :) I tried scrubbing it off but just decided to send it in and start over. Now that I don't use it in the field as much and mostly in the kitchen maybe Andy will take the grind up just a hair in the process of clean up. Maybe not, I don't know his processes, but either way I fine with it. There will definitely be: Before, After, and...After pics coming :)

Have you ever seen those touristy places that have that picture board with people and their faces are cut out? You can stand behind it for a photo and it looks like you are doing something funny/old fashioned/ exciting??

........is there any way we can do something similar with the original Bushfinger?? I would totally pay for that!

We could call it Mr Griffin's retirement plan.

Just saying. ;)

LMAO, thanks, I needed that. I think at some point I am just going to do a pass around and send it around through the long dedicated Fiddleback fans and let you guys check it out. Wasn't really planning on charging for it though :)

It was just an idea. Marinate on it a while. AND it would be much safer than risking the chance it would go "missing".....cause if I got my hands on it, it would be like Golum getting the ring.

Yeah, my only concerns would be the required amount of insurance for my comfort, and it being lost in transit and the PO not wanting to pay off on the insurance. Not worried about the members I am thinking of stealing it at all. First off I think we have a really great group of guys in this forum. Second, what would be the point of grabbing something like this when you couldn't brag about it in the open? It's a one of a kind and pretty easy to notice. However, I will bring it to the gathering in October if it happens...just don't bite off my finger if you come :)
