Not sure if this is in the right forum, but it involves an Emerson, so here goes:
I was just at Longs (it's kind of like a Walgreens) picking up some Drano and the guy ahead of me was buying a toy samurai sword (for Halloween, no doubt ). Anyway, after the clerk rang him up, the guy asked if they had a pair of scissors to open the packaging. The clerk looked around for about 10 seconds after which I couldn't contain myself any longer. "I got it." , I said, to which the guy responded "Oh, you have a knife?" I pulled my plain edge HD-7 out of my pocket being careful not to engage the Wave (I think I still freaked out the clerk a little), and it made quick work of the plastic packaging. " Thanks, I gotta get one of those too." the guy said. Not exactly heroic, but I couldn't help but smile a little as I put the knife away
. There were about half a dozen other folks around; I guess no one around here carries a knife.
