Got Kydex?

Is a Kydex Sheath for my 42 better than the nylon sheath it came with for EDC? I was looking at some from Edge knife accessories, they look good. Anyone out there have one?

I got one of Clay's kydex's, they really hold the knife in place and you've serveral positions of carry
 
Clay is not a Full-Time Sheathmaker. However, his Sheaths are in every way as crisp in detail when he makes them as anything I have seen exit a Custom Maker's Shop, and I mean that. It is excellent work, and coming from someone who just does it, basically for people like us, because he likes people like us, is amazing.

The attention to detail, the execution and the designs are excellent.

Not kidding. Get it without fear of being ripped off.
 
I've got two of Clay's masterpieces and they are so much better than the BM sheath it isn't really even funny. Plus, you have the ability to change the positions on them. The posssiblities are almost endless.
 
I ordered a sheath from him last night, and before 7:30 this morning, I had the money on the way and a confirmation email from Clay arrived at 9, while I was at work. I don't remember how long it takes USPS to do priority mail, but I'll probably get the sheath Monday. I'll have my 42 this weekend, one way or another...

Bottom Line:

I trust Clay to be "Da Man" when it comes to sheaths, and Bali's in general. :D:D:D
 
That's the guy. He's built like a bodybuilder, but a nice one. :D I know this because I saw his pic on the site, and from the video clips he has posted.
 
Yah I just got a vert concealx from him. The dge equipment is goo but their sheath clip lets it hang down to far so unless you are whereing a long T it wont be concealed.
 
Thanks ill give him a call... For EDC carry concealed what style should I get. Horizontal, Shoulder, Vert. I dont know, i would like it to be comfortable and easy to get at.

you gonna make any sheaths for the tachyon? i would love to have something to accompany my new bali :D
 
to add onto that idea, how about an inverted-v for two BM42's, and another part on the top for a tachyon?

Oh, I'm sure I'll get a Tachyon when they become available and I will absolutely make sheaths for them.

But I think they already come with (or are available with) a Kydex sheath.

Dude, I have made a few experimental sheaths in 3 and 4 Bali combinations and there's one thing I've learned:

"You can count on going through life with your pants down around your ankles (but in a bad way) from the moment you clip those "bad boys" on.";)

See my problem is actually FINDING a place on my belt to put another bali and to keep symmetry too while having easy access.
maybe I'll just remove a 42 or wear the tachyon IWB or something
