I stopped by a local pawn shop this morning looking for a new carry gun. They didn't have anything that suited me so of course I slid over to the knife counter. This shop usually has a good number of interesting knives for sale and today was no exception. They had a brand new Esse Izula that was tagged at 49.95. It was missing the belt clip plate so I offered 40 bucks and they let me have it at that price. Looks like it never cut anything and has never been sharpened. That is until I got it home. Might not have been the deal of the year but I thought I did pretty good.
Never overlook pawnshops.

Our local pawn shop seemed to think that used, trashed knives priced barely below MSRP was the order of the day.

Some sort of local city code forced them to close their doors a few years ago.

I am not driving to the next town to look at beat up knives at absurd prices.

The do have a Benchmade dealer though. I can look at high priced knives with a butterfly 🦋 tax.
