Hi everyone. You may remember I posted the other day asking about the Buck 110 at Academy. Well, I went Satuday and .... (on sale for 'bout $25, I had a gift certificate from my Brother for $30 for my birthday.) I must say so far I am very pleased! Nice fit and finish, locks up good and tight, very solid knife. I spent some time putting a convex type edge on it using 1000 grit sand paper on mouse pad, then 2000 grit then leather strope. That removed the "toothy" edge and got it "scary" sharp! I must say it was very sharp from factory. I just like doing my own thing when i get a new knife. I have not put it to any major cutting tasks yet, however I'm sure I will not be disappointed. (I do have some bald spots on my arm. lol) Thanks for all ya'lls advice. M
