Got me a piece of glass and sandpaper, and a question?

Edge-trailing, at least starting out. If the knife is fairly sharp, it's REAL easy to cut the paper with edge-leading. As you get better at regulating pressure and angle, you might find it easier to do some light edge-leading passes. Even then, if you're like me, you'll still cut the edges of the paper occasionally. All-the-more-so, once your edges start really improving. :D

I always use edge trailing when using sandpaper. Now, you need to get a rubber pad to put under the sandpaper, and do convex edges!!!!

That is where it is at!!!

And a strop with some polishing compound.

All my edges get convexed eventually.
