Got me some EDMF knives this week.

I knew nothing about these but they seemed pretty cool. Anybody else have any EDMF knives? What's your opinion on them? They seem to be getting hard to find.

I had one many years ago, but sold it. It was a 10" blade smatchet. A very stout knife with a reasonable price @ $105 including shipping. I wore off the blued finish it came with and replaced it with a parkerized finish. I also removed the paracord handle wrap and replaced it with leather. Needed cash, so I sold it after my daughter was born. Are these new or did you get them used? I havent heard about EDMF in a while and thought they may have quit making knives.

I bought these off of somebody. As far as I can tell with the research that I've done, it's been a few years since Dale Sandberg has made any knives. There was reports about him or his wife having health problems.

I have an 8" spearpoint from them that I got in 1998(the date should be stamped on the handle where it meets the blade). Looks like I need to order another EDMF knife 'cause I love the middle knife in your picture.
