Got me thinking...

the recent thread on toenails and sunfish got me thinking some of these especially the vintage ones fetch big money upwards of 600 sometimes (often in less than ideal condition, a few camillus were really, really rough still managed 200-300).
Have any of you guys commissioned a custom toenail or sunfish? I realize a custom is a big step from production, but in some ways it might be a better idea than investing in a vintage piece, and generally are the prices of a custom dramatically higher. 2x, 3x more, or Dont Ask:D
I figured as many fine customs as ive seen in here, somebody gotta have an opinion:D
cheers

Joel Chamblin had a beautiful one on a Dealers Site in piqued pearl that knocked my socks off.
I plan on talking to him at Blade :D.
When my name pops up on Tony's list (last round took 7 years so who knows) I am waffling between "whatever you want to make works for me Tony" or "how do you feel about a Toenail" :D.

I'm not sure if it qualifies as a custom or not,I had a couple recently that I have since passed on(I'm just not into those big ol' knives)I still have a picture of one though and you can find them on ebay for a reasonable price.

they are a Hen and Rooster, the blades are etched on the other side, more of a collectors piece than a user,I never paid much attention to them, there may be some without the etch.
