I need a piece of mokume that is 3/8" thick x 3/4" wide by 6" long. any of you guys make it that size?

Loredo7mm makes really nice mokume (he is a BF member). Of course there is Mike Sakmar (248-852-6775).

the problem i am having is i cant find any in the size that i need. The thickest Mike Sakmar makes is 3/16" I need 3/8" thick.

silver and copper would be fine, or the tri color would work too.

all i saw was 3/16 from him also. That was from the knife supply catalog.
Any one here make there own mokume?

i could make it if i had a big torch, but i don't think my minitorch is up to the job.you might give phil baldwin a call and see what he has laying around.

I make my own, it is not too difficult to do, you just have to make sure everything is very clean and get an even temp across the piece.

So what are you up to? RL figured it out but I have no clue, which is not uncommon for me.

Shoot me an email or give me a call to see if I can help you out by making some for your or helping you make your own. I use copper and nickel silver in my mokume. I can easily do a 3/8 x 3/4 x 6 single twist.

My contact info is on my website.
