Got my 1311's and Gave one away!

My youngest daughter’s boy friend of two years now, got his first taste of the Busse family steel!
I ordered two 1311's one for him and one for me, they came in the mail yesterday, so he got his Christmas present early. I'm just not good at waiting for Christmas to share.
My daughter and her boyfriend came over yesterday to help me move some heavy stuff headed for Utah, he is a great guy, a Veteran of the Iraq/Afghanistan war and has went back a few times as private contractor.
I pray he's back to stay for good.

holy crap those things are HUGE!! I can't wait to get mine (tomorrow if usps does their part)
 
Good grief! I've been married for 10 years and my father in law hasn't gotten me anything near as good!!!
 
My father in law paid for my masters degree education, and every single expense (apartment, electric, phone, etc) for those two years.... i guess that's ALMOST as good as a 1311 :(
 
He's gonna get one heck of a first user experience with the MOAD. Good on you for giving such a great gift! :thumbup:

I really wish I had the spare cash to have ordered one. But I was saving pennies for other knives. I have a B11, but those look so great.

Sweet gift for Christmas, though!

So he is a service guy you say, hmm tell him Buy Brownie Clause wants to give him a sheath for his 1311 for Christmas and say thank you for his service.

I wish my in-law would buy me a Busse for xmas LOL!
And Dave already gave me some free military kydex--dudes the best!

Brownie Clause strikes again. David is always doing good deeds and helping out around here.

It's like Santa and Ms. Clause had a son, who fell into a vat of Eagle Scout goodness, and mutated into an Ugly Mug, who does good deeds...... (kind of like an Uglier dryer version of the scientist in Swamp Thing......).


He donated a sheath to my cousin, lickity split before he had to deploy!
