Got my 54 Big Jack back today!!!

As the title says I did receive my 54 BJ back from GEC today. If you don't remember (and why would you, everyone has their own problems) I sent it in due to some blade play on both blades. Well they fixed that no problem and also did a nice buff job on it while it was there, came back looking better than when I purchased it new. It being an 08 model may have had something to do with the small loss of some of its original luster. I couldn't be more happy with the service I received and the "new" knife I'm now carrying. Also just for fun I sharpened the spear point blade when I got it back today, I put a nice mirror polish on it. I tried to show that in the second pic but I was using my cell so they didn't turn out the greatest in the world. Anyway sorry for going on for so long I just wanted to share because it really made my Sat afternoon.

I remember too. Glad to see it all worked out in your favor. Splendid looking knife!

My first GEC was a Big Jack. I love the pattern, and you've got a beauty! Congrats on getting your baby back!
 
Looking good, WE. I liked yours so much when you 1st posted about it I had to go get it's twin. I'd been watching those two for a while and finally decided I needed to get on with it before it got scooped up. Glad GEC did you right, but I'm not surprised.

I need some more GEC!

I just fixed a blade wiggle my self (not a GEC knife........). It actually worked great!

So far, no fit or finish issues with any of the GEC I have bought so I am glad!
 
Thanks again everyone. I'm not surprised they fixed me up either, they seem like a very good company. Looking forward to buying more GEC knives soon. Just can't decide on what's next. I really like the looks of some of the 56's that I see posted around here so that's where I'm starting.

black mamba, this was my second GEC and for some reason I didn't expect it to be as big as it was. I guess I should have known with just the name alone "BIG Jack" :o. It feels super solid and I don't feel like I'm under knifed when carrying it that's for sure.

biglmbass, glad you got one while you could. They are really good "big" knives and them seem like they are capable of any job that could reasonably be done with a pocket knife without worry.
 
That knife is absolutely cool! Great one! I can remember, you told us, that there is blade play and you wanna send it them for fixing it up. Good to hear, that everything went alright.
