Had to post. Benchmade has been good to me lately. They are repairing my Al Mar Auto from 2009 that is my most favorite knife ever for EDC. Benchmade made the knife for Al Mar. I can't wait to get it back. I was afraid it was going to end up in a drawer.
But while waiting I had to get a 550bk1!
I really like the 550bk1. The sheep foot is such a good blade. Only gripe is I wish the liner and axis was black. I know a guy that will be anodizing mine black in the next couple weeks.
It's sharp out of box, but not as sharp as my 8 year old 551bk. Practice makes perfect...;-)
