Got my Arc Premium!!

My Arc Premium arrived today!! I LOVE this little flashlight!! It is on my keychain now. This is such a coooool little light. I am very happy.
 
Yes, this was the pre-order one. There IS the regular one that I believe that Lighthound has for sale.
 
i had gotten an ARC AAA a while back. it came with a "lifetime guarantee".

unfortunately, that guarantee expired about 7 mos after i bought it (they packed up and closed the business). some lifetime guarantee huh?? :grumpy:

hope your lifetime guarantee lasts longer than mine did.

Um, the company was reformed. I'm sure if there's a problem with your Arc AAA, they'll take care of it, even if it's an old one.
 
I suppose I should add my comments here as well.

I didn't feel like waiting in line for a preordered one, so I got a couple off ebay. It cost a few bucks more, but only marginally, since being in the same state that they're made, I'd have to pay tax if I ordered them directly.

One has a slight bluish tint (stored away), the other one (which I'm using) has a very very slight yellowish-greenish-brown tint to it, and is slightly brighter than the other one. The tint is hard to notice unless you're comparing it with another light. Both are Premiums.

But yeah, I love this light. Everybody who sees it in use is astounded by the amount of light this dinky thing puts out (although they are a bit put off at the price). My only gripe is that there's no lense/cover, and since I make pizzas for a living, a lot of dust gets in the reflector.
 
Mine's been in my watch pocket since the day I got it. I love it, small, bright, simple and batteries are cheap.
 
I'd like one of the new Arcs compared to the 3 LED high power snow from Peak. I haven't been able to find the answer to which one is brightest.
 
I have a couple of the old Arc AAAs, and they're great. I'd love to pick up one of the new ones, but I hate having to pre-order. Does anybody have these in stock?
 
Is the company reformed under another name or the same and how do I contact them?
 
I compared the Arc AAA to the AAA offerrings from Peak. The deciding factors for the Arc were: better regulation and, much more importantly, shorter body. I don't remember exactly because I did the comparisons a while back, but the Arc is at least 1/4" shorter than the shortest Peak. Makes a big difference in my watch pocket where I can fit three mini tools without noticing: Vic Manager, fold-flat nail clippers, and the Arc AAA, all sitting in a row.

I thought the 3LED from Peak was brighter, but my ARC AAA was smaller and always hangs around my neck.
