I really like this.
It's not as awe-inspiring as the big Beckers like the BK-9 and BK-5, but it is a very handy size and just begs to be used and used often. I got this as something I could carry in situations where a full size Becker might scare sheeple but give me a little more blade than the BK-11 and Eskabar. It's perfect. I think I'll be carrying this one more than I figured and using the dickens out of it. The 16 didn't appeal to me much at first but the more I saw images of one, the more it grew on me, so I decided to give one a chance. Now I'm glad I did. Seems to me the BK-16 is a great choice for an all-around jack-of-all trades hunting and bushcrafting knife. I think the BK-15 Mini-Magnum Camp will of course be a better knife for cleaning fish and in the kitchen, but the BK-16 will really excell as a do-it-all hunting knife, and just about anything else. It's a simple, clean, purely utilitarian design; nothing fancy, nothing "tactical", just pure effective function.
I'm going to buy another one, and stash it away for my son for when he's old enough for his first knife.
Outstanding job, Ethan:thumbup:
