It has one perfectly straight scratch crossways of the blade, about 1" back from the point. Looks like the machine tool might have done it. Other than that, it's beautiful. I didn't know it came with a BK-13. Well worth the $200.00:D

I had to take six pics, before I got one that just barely shows the scratch. Look where the glare on the tip of the sharpened edge stops. Then look about 1/4" ahead of that, and you can just faintly see the scratch.

very nice, that is definitely a beautiful blade! do you plan on using it or will it be a collecter?

I've got plenty of users, so it will probably be a collector for now. I may sell it later. I've been selling off my collection, but now it seems like I've replaced many of them with new ones.:o

It's the one in the pic. It was in the pouch on the sheath.

I think he may have been asking if you got the Chinese promotionals that came with certain Beckers. Or if you got the newer, American-made Remora. From what I see, you got one of the promo knives.

Great Extreme!

OH, Yeah, it's the Chinese one, of course, but since I wasn't expecting it, I guess it's a bonus, especially since I got the knife for $100 off.

Wait, the 77 wasn't the bonus? Damn, I wondered why no one was buying my Remora's for $250....

How can you tell, other than the 'USA' and the 'China' on it???

aside from the stamps?

the American one has tighter tolerances on the handle cutouts and appears to have been tumbled or bead blasted texture on the handle surfaces. plus it says useful stuff about where it was made :) the blade itself is more polished. the edge grind is ... more hollow iirc.

these chinese one is really not bad either. these edge profile is a bit more flat.
