And my God does it feel good in my hands lol I have mixed feelings about the coating though, its a rough texture and I love the look of it, but I imagine it's going to cause a lot of friction. Either way I don't think I'm going to strip it anytime soon. uploadfromtaptalk1347240750350.jpg

It's a great knife.

If the new coating bothers you, get some 320 grit blade carbide paper. Carefully rub down the side of the blade. The 320 is just rough enough to knock down the high sports of that finish. It makes it pretty silky feeling and really slicks it up.
 
can't wait till my 16 gets here. mine will get stripped. i like things simple. and with jim62's scales.. i can't wait. thanks jim.
 
Use your knife...the coating won't stay the same if you do. I womped on mine until it was nice and smooth. My goal is to strip it via use and then Clich it.
