Got my bk2

Got my bk2 yesterday, i was actually surprised at the size, looks alot bigger in pics and vids. Love it though, fits my hands perfect. Got a few ideas for carry options, will post pics when i like the outcome, for now, my 3 beckers.

congrats on the 2. nice group you have there.. although you are lacking a 9 and 5...
 
I'm sure you will enjoy the 2, it will handle anything you throw at it. It was my first "real" knife. I love it, but as I started camping/hiking/bushcrafting more, I have gravitated toward a large blade (9"+) in my pack for big tasks like chopping and batoning and a small/light fixed blade like a Mora for knife tasks. The 2 is awesome though, and think it lends itself well to an urban survival scenario where its shorter blade won't draw attention and its thickness/mass would be great for prying open doors, gas caps, or punching through metal.
 
Congrats! That's 3 great knives you have there.

What's your next Becker gonna be? Maybe a 9? :D
 
He can't not have the BK9, it's an impossibility.

But that's still a nice assortment you've got so far.
 
Good job on the 2, overall you've got a well rounded collection.... I bet it doesn't stop here though ;)
 
Nice choices bud. That two will help you to pry sap encrusted chunks\globs out of dead trees, or slathered all down the bark. When materials are wet this stuff will get her flaming like the forges of hell.
 
I also have kabar USMC, I have batoned with it and it worked well. Just feel for me and my experiences/habitat, that I don't need a blade longer than the bk2. Then again, if there was a larger drop point in the Becker line up, I would bite.

Ha, then send it my way :D I don't have one of those yet.

Congrats on the 2, I haven't gotten to use mine yet. I dont k is when I will, I have a 9 in the mail tomorrow and will probably use that 1st.
