Got my blem 0301.

Well, got my blem ZT0301 from Kershawguy today. I'm extremely happy. Ordered it Tuesday, and received it today(Friday). That's fast, imo. Anyways, the 0301 is awesome. This is probably officially my favorite folding knife I own, even over my Para 2. Here's the thing, I'm no ZT expert but I really can't find the blem on this thing. It has the four X's on the blade, but I can't find any scratches or anything wrong. The knife was a little stiff at first, and it wouldn't quite snap all the way open the first few times of using it but I can tell it's smoothing out now. There's some places on the top of the spine that look a little...weird in certain light, but then again that could be the DLC coating or whatever. Also, maybe the blem is that paint that ended up on the flipper. I'm just guessing, though. Maybe it's supposed to be there, maybe it's not. I don't know, but I'm very very happy with this purchase with Kershawguy and the knife itself. Here's a couple pictures, guys.

You're going to love it. I thought it was going to be really heavy, considering how people were talking about it, but it's really not. I could EDC it, but it's not going to take place over my PM2, simply because of how high it rides. A good chunk of the knife shows out the top of the pocket, and that's absolutely the only reason it's not replacing the PM2 as my EDC.
 
Thats a nice knife to carry at the office, too, because it doesn't scare people.

OpKey, How was blade centering and lockup? these are my only concerns with a blem. btw thanks to you I now have one on the way..:D

Thanks for the congrats. It really is an amazing knife. I can understand how it's someone's dream knife.

Blade centering and lock up. Perfect. I thought the blade was off at first glance, but it's not. The g10 side is a little thicker than the titanium side so it makes the blade look a little off center. The lockup is solid as can be though. It doesn't get better than this, unless it's a fixed blade. :)

If anyone wants a 0301 and wants to save a chunk of cash. I highly recommend getting one of these blems from Kershawguy. Especially if you're impatient like me, because he has set a new standard for shipping time for me. Any more questions, feel free to ask.
 
The Blem is the XXXX's, that is the beauty of Kershaw / ZT quality control very, very, very picky. The avearge person usually cant find a flaw. Nice knife BTW, I just traded into a NIB 0300 and is barnone one of my top knives. John
 
Thanks for the kind words guys, I am just a wee bit anal about the shipping, that's why I am still up printing labels after midnight, I try to get everything shipped ASAP, I know what it's like to wait for a knife.

Just got my 0301 from Dave the other day too, he also saved my Christmas and shipped to Hawaii, very reliable and very professional seller. Wish i jumped on the 0500 when he had some. Too bad he doesn't live in Washington, I'd be broke.

I was amazed how quick my order made it literally cross country...placed order in the wee hours of the 12th, here on the 14th...Actually checking your site now to order a 200 blem (that I was going to wait on). Very happy Dave, veeeeery happy :)

I just got my 301 in today. And, blade centering and lockup were as good as it gets. The only blem on the piece is a tiny all white dot near the top of one of the white stripes. The dot is just a little whiter than the rest of the area. I would have never noticed it except for there was a small sticker on the package that said "spot blade". Had I not seen that sticker I would have never noticed the little dot. I had to look hard to find it too. Other than that, my 301 is flawless as far as I can tell.

I've ordered several from Dave in the past and all I'm lacking at the moment to make some more orders is $. It will happen. I need another 350 and I really want a 300 now. Congrats to you who have made smart purchases. As already stated, he's a standup guy and lightening fast shipper.

Now that I think about it, my package had a small sticker on it with some writing aswell. It didn't have a word on it, but I do remember it having three letters or something. No telling what it stands for, but I'll check it out and edit this post. Maybe Kershawguy can clue me in on what it means, because I still can't find the blem on mine.

Edit: I checked the package mine came in, and there's a small sticker that says "S.F.B". Anyone have any idea what that could stand for? I imagine the "B" stands for blade, but I don't know about the rest. It'd be nice to know, even though the knife is perfect.

I just recieved my Black Blur blem from dave today. I also can't figure out what the blem is. I am very happy with the Knife and with daves speedy service and good communication.
