Blade is marked 2001, #015 CQC7-WAVE.

I really like the blue liners. What do you guys think? By the way, the pictures do NOT do it justice.

Thanks to Derek for helping with the order, and thanks to all at EKI for building my first "custom" knife. This is gonna be a great weekend..............

Looks great! Im doing the same thing to mine.

If anyone wants their liners anodized a color, I will do them for you for $15 if you just send me your liners. If I need to take your liners out, anodize them, and put your knife back together, it will be $25. Both add $4 to ship it back to you priority mail.

I will do this right away as it doesnt take much time. No waits on this service while Im out.

If you want me to bead blast them first to make them very uniform in color, add $15.

sincerely,

The masked bandit

Uhhhh,....Brigadier,....your Emerson box doens't look crushed. Did Ernie suddenly hire a box uncrusher???? Are crushed boxes now a custom feature that cost more?
Brigadier, I hate to do this, but I somewhat question the authenticity of your CQC7BW since it doesn't have a crushed box. Something is definitely suspicious here!

BTW, your new Emerson looks great.

I think the crushed boxes were a limited feature that was only available on the SOCFK series.

I've got a satin finish green g-10 cqc-7b. Does anybody have any suggestions of what color to anodize the liners? I've yet to think of one that will look good on this knife.

John, if that's the case, then my 2000 Commander is quite rare; it came with a wonderfully pulverized box. And both of my La Griffes are also valuable since their boxes were smashed and mangled, respectively. Oh, and the box for my CQC7 is somewhere between tattered and shredded; the proper name for THIS box is "Emersonesque Classic Cardboard", I do believe. Do any of you fellas have other types of these seemingly Limited Edition Emerson boxes??

SAMHELL:

With green g-10, I would recommend getting the liners either blue or red anodized liners. Let me know if you would like me to do it for you.

I would recommend letting me bead blast the liners to get all those little factory scratches out of liners when you look inside the knife......I did that to mine today with great results.

Samshell,
I have a mini CQC7A that has green g10 handles and blue liners from the CP shop. It is sweet. I would go blue with the green.
