Hello,

So, finally got my Spyderco blue Manix 2.
Had to pay an additional 54 dollars to those thiefs that call themselves ''Customs''.
Still, I'm very happy with my new smurf!
Allready it has bitten me, I'll tell you, this thing comes razorsharp! :p
Lovely color and rock solid lock, ffg, S30V. What else is there to wish for?

This being such a nice knife, I'm still debating whether to use it or not..
Right now I do not have enough money to buy another knife and I need a knife I can use.
So, dilemma here.

Here's some pics for you to enjoy :D

Nice, A knife that nice deserves to be used!! I would, the manix is built like a tank so nothings going to hurt it anyway.

Don't waste your money by buying safe queens. Knives are meant to be used and that is especially the case for Spydercos. Just remember not to pry with it. ;)

You will never know just how nice it is if it sits in a drawer. I got one and haven't used it yet but I also got a S90V model that went in my pocket the day I got it. It's actually in my pocket right this second along with a ZDP Stretch, a Salt 1 acting as money clip, and a M4 Benchmade Rift. That's about $550 worth of knives. Guess I could have a XM-18 or I could have 4 pretty awesome knives. I will take the 4.

anyone know what does the 120v next to the logo means?

Would like to know that myself 2!

As for the safe queen issue, I ment that normally I use knives hard and I wouldn't mind doing it to a high value knife as this one except for the fact that this one is a sprint run.
Compared to the Gayle Bradley, which I considered buying too, if I somehow damaged that one, I could buy a new one.
For the Manix 2 in blue, this is not the case.

That's why ;)

But, the last hours I've had it in my pocket and right now I am looking at, while it is on my desk, and I have to say, this knife really is a beauty which I'd love to keep if money permitted it..

I'll keep you posted ;)

I allready know the answer:

120 is the number from the member of the Spyderco Collector Club(hence the ''CC'') who I bought it from ;)

I would use it. Like I said you will never know how great it is if you don't put it to use. It was born to be used. You might not be able to easily get a replacement but it's not like you are going to be able to retire early by owning it NIB. There were only 400 of the S90V made and it has been in my pocket a lot since getting it. It is in my pocket probably 5 days during an average week and is an awesome knife. It's of course your decision but my vote is to find out why it is such a good knife. Also, the lock gets easier to manipulate the more it is opened and closed. Mine was very stiff when new and has got a lot better.
