Got my brother a BK-11 Necker for Xmas

Bought it today at the military surplus store I frequent.

Looks like a very handy little knife. Typical superb KaBar finish and SHARP.

I like it. I might get one myself to piggyback on the sheath of one of my larger Beckers.

He should like it, then he will buy more Beckers. The 11 is how most Beckerheads get started.
 
I already started him out a few years back with a BK-7 Combat/Utility. I thought he'd dig something smaller that he can EDC without scaring people. This will definitely be a WIN because not only is it a Becker, it's also a KaBar and he collects KaBar.
 
Yeah they had the whole KaBar Becker line-up in stock. The KaBar Magnum Camp looks mighty fine. I think I'll be getting one of those to set aside for the future if I ever manage to wear out my Camillus version. The Magnum Camp is one knife I never want to be without. I want to be 90 years old and still helping the neighbors at slaughter time, and STILL using a Magnum Camp to do it.

Today was also the first time I got to really handle a BK-2. It's an odd knife; feels a lot bigger than it is when I held it. It's only a medium sized knife (IMO) but has a LOT of attitude. Maybe I could describe it as a Beagle with a Rottweiler's strength. Not exactly small but lots of power and ability. A BK-2 wouldn't be ruled out for joining my Becker arsenal soon either.

The BK11 was my Becker gateway knife, still use it everyday. Since then got the 2, 14, 7 and 10 in that order. Love them all!!! The 11 will always have a special place in my heart, wife got it for me for Valentine's day.
 
I'm new around here but it seems like the 2 is the favorite for a lot of members. Maybe one will be under the tree??

Ummmm Thanks guys. I bought one 5 minutes ago thanks to y'all. My wife is gonna say "why'd you buy a neck knife when you can make one?" My reply will be "I sold a neck knife to buy a neck knife...and now I have a Beccker Necker". I'm fixin to take a romp in the woods with a few knives and play for a while.
