It's made by Lok Kami and I am impressed! I gotta say I was suprised how light it was compared to my 18" WWII especially considering there's only an inch difference and I always thought the CAK usually weighed more cause of the full tang. The overall length of the knife from the bottom of the pommel to the tip of the blade is 17". The blade itself is a hair under 11.5" and the satisal handle (habaki included) is a little under 6". The blade and habaki are nicely polished, though there was a small scratch in the middle of the blade but nothing a little fine grit sandpaper couldn't handle. Sadly I must have been a bad boy this year as Santa didn't leave me a new digi cam like I asked so no pics at the moment. Haven't had a chance to chop with it yet but if it's anything like my WWII it should handle most of the things around my house like butter.

Thanks again Yangdu for an excellent knife and customer service and thank you Lok Kami for making such an excellent knife!

Good news about the CAK, sad about no new camera.

But I'm sure once you get to chop with the CAK, and compare it to your WWII, you'll be able to write volumes, no photo's needed! ;)
