I wasn't sure how this would turn out but I'm very happy with the results. I wanted to make a new thread so you didn't have to go the end of another but rest assured there will be pictures for the edc thread and the gallery. For now it's just this thread.

Thanks guys! It sure gives the knife an entirely different feel. I'll probably leave it like this for a while and then put the black G-10 back on for a change up. Rolf, I don't know who wants a red knife. Fire department, boy scouts, swiss army? This color reminds me of all that!

lol! At one time, most of my knives where all Red.
Let's not ask about my Red CQC7 and Red CQC7 framelock.

I'm asking haha! I want pics, Rolf.

And newknif, I think it looks great! Definitely adds a different vibe. I like the changeup.

Thank you MrPockets! I just went on Emerson and ordered the black body screws and pivot nut and bolt. I have to see what it looks like with the black hardware on red too. I'm adding up some points over there!

Thanks, jacksterp. I'll go with fuchsia. I will say this, it doesn't look anything like the material I began with. I think the guy did a great job.

Those scales and stand offs look amazing! Who did the work on it?

Thanks, STR. He's a local guy here in town . I found his name on the Florida Knife Makers Association website. I noticed his address was local so I contacted him.

We've been friends ever since. He's a great guy. Tom Ivy. He makes really nice knives too. He did this work for nothing. I want to get over to his place tomorrow and gift this ZT0770 I have to him. I think he'd like it.

Mickey Mouse, the beach and knife makers who do work for free! What else could you ask for??
