First impression, the handle is not black like I was expecting. It's quite grey/bluish. Not that it matters. The silver pocket clip contrasts nicely, and hides better against the khakis I usually have to wear.
The blade is not sharp! Wait, it's sharp. I'm used to new spydercos being rediculusly sharp out of the box. This one is rediculusly sharp out to the curve, where it is merely shaving sharp. First time I have not been amazed at a spyderco factory edge, though not disapointed. It's merely as sharp as I can get knives anyway.
The wave works wonderfully. SOO bad. SOO very very good.
There is the spyderco-typical very slight vertical blade play.
I think I've found the perfect SD knife. Opens fastest possible, my favorite steel, in a lightweight, slim, comfortable package that is rustproof and needs no maintenance.
$90 for a plastic, riveted knife, though, is somewhat steep. I wish it was the same $50ish the regualar endura goes for. It's weird to pay more for something that's not there, for LESS steel!
