Finally! It has arrived. I got me first Becker in the mail today and I am amazed by how awesome this knife is. I have seen it countless times on the internet but it is not the same until you have it there in your hands. My Bk4 feels like it was molded specifically for my hand and fits like a glove. The quality of this knife is incredible, I have had many knives over the years and nothing stands up to this beast of a blade.

I will post photos of my first day with the Bk4 as soon as i figure out how so stay tuned (:
EDIT: I got pictures to post, adding the rest now.

Congrats!
The Machax is an awesome blade for sure!
So much fun to use!
An excellent choice for your first Becker.
Thanks for the pics. Now go get that thing dirty!:D

Add some micarta and you'll fall in love with it even more. Seriously, the Beckers get even better with micarta scales.

You could even make them yourself if your adventurous enough. I made mine and am very happy with them.

Either way, micarta or grivory, the BK4 is one heck of a blade and is one of my favorites.
Mine's been on several trips now and has processed a LOT of firewood. Everything from making ten stakes to batoning 6" pine logs , it takes a lickin and keeps on tickin!

Very nice blade ya have there. I noticed today that it can get a little slippy so I am definitely going to be looking for new scales, not sure if I want micarta or G-10.

Beauty first becker...i m jealous...

My friend Griffin was rather jelly as well once he seen me split a 6" tall 4"x4" block of wood with one strike. He immediately dropped his jaw and offered me a hundred bucks for it but I couldn't let this beauty of a beast go that soon.

you can say she got dirty today... or bloody lol

this is what the cut looks like right now, about 1/16" deep and 1/8" wide/long

the wear on the finish after a days use

after several cut up cardboard boxes, processing wood for a fire, clearing out unwanted vegetation in the yard, and slicing up my finger it is still hair popping razor sharp

Thanks guys, i had a blast playin with it yesterday, (aside from a chunk from my pinkey) the knife outperformed expectations.
