Well after reading ALOT of great things about the Cuda Maxx I decided to get one. Yesterday my Cuda Maxx Bowie folder came in...and wow. Yes I did laugh alittle when I saw it...this is thing is pretty big! :)

There is ablsolutly NO blade play at ALL. Solid as a rock.
I cant even feel it in my pocket...I forget its even there!

I love this knife. Is there a Cuda Maxx club I could join or something? :)

I like mine because even though it's a big blade it's slim enough not to "print" in my pocket. :)

Glad you're happy with it! They are amazing knives. It does feel like we should have a club, doesn't it? :)

I already had a BM 630 for a "large" knife, so I opted for the Maxx 7.0 => Can you say overkill? Mine is just as solid as you report yours to be. I prefer the spearpoint blade shape to the Bowie. Haven't seen the dagger version of the 5.5 in the flesh to have an opinion about it.

Check out www.knifekits.com for some deep pocket clips and bronze washers if you want to "upgrade" it a little.

Are these the parts?

I just got my Cuda Maxx 7.0, it was waiting for me when I got back from camping. This thing is awesome! Looks nice, solid lockup. Only thing that I noticed is that the blade isnt fully centered when it is closed. Looks like a good knife. I am going to EDC it for a while and see how it performs. :D

might be the washers but is not the correct clip, it only has 2 holes to attatch it to the knife vs 3, that looks like the std clip to me. it looks a lot diff from those.

Correct washers, but you need to look for the "Designer Fold-Over Clip". It is a D. Ralph design and is the same type of clip found on the early custom Maxx's.
