An 18" WWII by Bura arrived a day or so back.

Not a fan of WWII's, but heck the price was right and it was a Bura piece, so why not.....

Man, I can't keep my hands off that Khukuri. What a truly cool implement/weapon/tool/whatever.

I've held Khukuris by other Kamis from the other Nepalese sites and other non-HI kamis, but I have to say that the HI kamis are the kings of their craft.

Glad you like it. I love my WWII by Kumar (sp) Just a great overall balance. Would love to get one by Bura in horn eventually.
It really is like Christmas when that little triangle box arrives :)

I've had Khuks by a lot of Kamis now, and so far Kumar seems to be the Kami who consistently makes a khuk that is a good fit to my hands.

Also got my second 20" Sirupati from Kumar. The first one felt pretty good but was a bit big around the middle. Just never settled in right because I've got smallish hands. But this new one is amazing.

Don't know if all Bura Khuks feel as nice the WWII, but when cash is available I hope to find out. :D

Good to know your blasphemy ("Not a fan of WWII's") has been corrected. Carry on. :D

I have a Bura WW2 and a Bura ak, both are beautiful so I can't wait to see how Amtracks handiwork compares

Hard to beat the 18" WWII's. Hard to beat the old Master Bura, but then its' hard to beat Durba too.

DKP, I have a pretty slick Durba WWII also. It's hard all the way to the tip, and it's ground awful thin, but the sucker just comes back for more. Never chipped out or rolled the edge. Nice big hand filling handle too :)

i HAVE A CHAINPURI BY KUMAR AND YOU WOULD HAVE TO KILL M TO GET IT AWAY FROM ME ( WHICH WON'T BE EASY )

Bura's seem to speak more to me than any others....
