Got my first Busse yesterday

It's a nice Badger in 3/16ths with the tan blade and scales. I bought it to use but now that it's here I'm not sure if I'll be able to actually USE it for fear of ruining the nice finish. I use just about all the knives that I collect because I view them as tools and I like to use tools, especially good tools. Since this one is SOOO nice, even by Skunk's discerning eye, I don't think I can bring myself to use it around the farm or in the woods.

What should I do? If I even mention buying another one, the wife will remove a limb and not from a tree.

I've got to find some stuff to sell so I can afford another Busse. Hmmmm........ the wife has entirely too many shoes....perhaps Ebay could help her, er, me with that. :p ;)
 
Congrats... Beat the ever loving infi outta it. Don't turn'em into safe queens. Once you do that, they ALL become safe queens :D

Definitely USE IT!

You won't hurt it, (expect for some cosmetic blemishes, which only gives it character, and makes it look cooler). You'll like it even more, after you've used it, and seen that it not only looks cool, but is also super tough.
 
Beat the snot out of it. It is true, once one becomes a safe queen, you want to make them all safe queens.
 
That's 7 to 1 in favor of using it for that which it was designed.

I'm sure you will enjoy carrying the BAIII when the new sheath arrives.
My friend and I carry ours (standard black combat grade) in a couple of Leatherman's creations.
Hope you can post a pic of your setup once they get together. ;) :D
 
use it and get another one like it in jungle green :rolleyes: :D

that is a damned fine knife post a pic if you can, not many were made like the one you got, maybe six and less than 12 :cool:

post a pic with your new scabbard if you can :cool:
 
I got my 1st Busse on the way its a groove master, can't wait to put it to work.
