So I recently got my first real hawk. Made by John dickison, of dickisonforge.com was nice enough to let me check out his shop and show me a few things as well. This was my first custom blade of sorts. Well enough talk here's the pics.

This is after a little use I just took it on a camping trip a few weeks ago. It held up very well.

I made a belt holder for it yesterday(snaps look really crooked but it's just a bad camera angle) not much practice with leather.

Very nice looking hawk. I have been bitten by the hawk sickness and I don't think there is a cure------------except more hawks!

I told John I wanted a user so this one is pretty plain he had some other hawks done that were very decorative but I couldn't make myself use one like that. My friends couldn't hardly believe I was going to use this one. Oh I forgot to mention it was made from a 32 oz. ball peen hammer. Here's a couple pics of the fancy ones he had while I was there last weekend.

Those are beautiful, and I agree on the statement on not bring myself to using one of those.

Great looking hawk you picked up there. The others look very nice also !

Very good looking hawk! But you won´t wanna use that hawk, won´t you? I think it would be a great pitty if the wooden handle gets broken....

Kind regards...

Both of these hawks are very nice

I love spiked tomahawks and the cord wrap job looks good on the Dickison hawk
