Got my first deer for the year

Hello all. I have just started browsing threads other than knives and came across this one. Here is that deer I got here in Ohio.

Got him with my bow on Friday. Already have him in the freezer. Hopefully I will find his girlfriends as well!

As a side note, the night before I left to hunt, I was changing my broadheads..there is a little broadhead tool that a person is supposed to use...I didn't and had this happen. 6 stitches. Use the broadhead tool! lol

Congrats on your deer. I went bowhunting in Southern Ohio a couple of years ago and we killed some nice bucks. I have one so far this year but it is going to be hard to get out because of my wife going through radiation therapy and chemo.
