I hadn't bought one until now. I started with the mini cqc15, and loved it so much I bought a mini roadhouse within 2 days.

Here they are together:

Where you disappointed that your wallet turned up empty when you went to buy food for the family lol?

Same here, I waited until the Mini Commanders were available and now I really want a Gentleman Jim for Christmas. It's between the GJ and the new Sypderco Southard, which puts me in quite the pickle.

Now I'm disappointed.
...disappointed, that I do not own two cool mini Emersons like you DO! ;):D:D:D

Just preordered the southard. I think my mini roadhouse will be on the chopping block to free up some funds. I'd snag a gentleman jim if you can find one on the exchange since they're pretty hard to find. If not, preorder the Southard. I'm willing to say theres a pretty big chance there will be some supplied but not nearly enough to cover the initial demand (kinda like what happened with the yojimbo 2) so if you don't get in on the initial rush you might end up waiting for a while or paying a steeper secondary market price.

You have no idea. These two along with a new mammoth mnandi is really hurting my wallet right now.

You now need a 7.

I've never really understood the appeal of these. I guess I'll have to buy one and find out.

So, you mentioned disappointment in the thread title and no where else. What gives?

I'm right there with you, I'm genuinely surprised the 7 gets so much love with the amount of flack tantos get from everyone. I'm eager to try a 7V because I'm sure I will take to it, but the blade/handle ratio is rather off putting in pictures. It's probably less noticeable in person. There's still so many Emerson's left for me to try.

I also find myself leaning towards the GJ despite the higher quality materials of the Southard. The GJ is just so much more aesthetically pleasing, damn you left brain!

The medium 7 is just fantastic, I wish I still had mine. If I ever find one for sale, I'll snag it, no matter the blade configuration.

Does Emerson Roadhouse out of stock???? Try to find on eon ebay or dealers but none is available. If you know one available pls show me the links. Thanks.

Seek, man.^ The Roadies are out there.
The 7 is the ultimate folder. Choose you preferred blade style.

Those thinking about a gentleman jim, get one! It's so sexy and I love mine. It's kind of my sunday knife :)

I got the mini Roadhouse combo edge.
What a great Emerson. Can't believe I got rid of my last 7, I guess I was desperate.
