Got my first Emerson

Been a Spyderco and Benchmade fan for a long time. Lately I have been interested in Emerson's. The commander line was no doubt my style, seemed the commander may have been a little big. I ordered a mini commander today and can't wait to get it. Depending on the size, I could see a commander in the future for an on duty knife. Watching interviews with Mr. Emerson turned me to try one of his knives.
 
The regular commander is the best size IMHO. I have several regular commanders and one mini. The mini is to similar in size to all the minis in the Emerson lineup like the CQC-15 mini..

get a regular commander .. It really is the best ergos and fit .. I love this style Emerson (by far) the most.
 
Makes for a great edc. Compact enough to be unobtrusive, big enough to get the job done. Love mine. Congrats on yours:thumbup:

Thanks for the info man, I will certainly keep it in mind. If I get a few other blades off loaded I may just get the commander as well. Thanks again for your input.
 
Good choice! The mini Commander was my first Emerson as well. Perfect size in my opinion. Get your wallet ready, it probably wont be your last.;)
 
Well I just got off work this morning and came home to my Emerson box. Wow, this thing is incredible. The quality is just amazing, I have zero issues with grit, scales/liners not matching up or anything like that. It is smoooooooth with early lock up. Fit and finish are top notch as well, just cannot stop fiddling with this thing. I registered it on their website right after I got it. Pretty sure I will be ordering a commander today. Going to have to off load some Benchmades and Spyderco's!
